Al-Rahmaan (Ar-Rahmaan) and Al-Raheem (Ar-Raheem)

(Note: In Arabic some words are written as Al-Rabb, Al-Rahman and Al-Raheem but are read as Ar-Rabb, Ar-Rahmaan and Ar-Raheem.)
These two beautiful names “Al-Rahmaan and
Al-Raheem are great names which are of great benefit for us (mankind). These
have frequently come together in the Holy Qur’aan for e.g.
The two names came together in بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Which is the opening sentence of every surah except surah Al-Tawbah.
Also the opening surah of the Holy Quran is Al-Fatiha in which the 3rd verse is الرحمن الرحيم .
The Prophet Sulaiman alayhi salaam also had started his letter with the Kalimah بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم .
